The Baptcare story started here at Strathalan

Strathalan is operated by Baptcare, as it was when it was first opened as an aged care home in the old homestead in 1945. In fact, Strathalan was the very first aged care home established by what was then the Baptist Union of Victoria. While we’ve certainly grown, Baptcare is still as committed to people’s individual needs as we were all those years ago. Today, our broad range of services extends across Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia, with care and support being provided by over 2,000 skilled and professional staff at over 40 locations. Thanks to our dedicated team, we’ve earned an excellent reputation as a provider of in-home care and support services, and of course we have residential aged care available too. We’re extraordinarily proud of the retirement community we’ve created at Strathalan. We believe it offers an outstanding retirement lifestyle in the heart of Macleod and now that construction is in full swing we’d love you to come and see what living here would be like.
